Hullachan Pro has found the perfect balance of shape and foot protection. The H1 (half sole) offers a truly streamlined profile while hugging to the arch and heel to create a truly wonderful toe shape when pointing the toe. Our commitment to foot health means every pair comes fitted with medical grade shock absorbency pads at the toe and heel. Beautiful refined smooth heel for a perfect fit.

Summary of Features:

  • Elasticised side panels for a close fit around the heels.
A patented seam free front to stop friction damage to dancers toes.
    Flat stitches throughout.
Medical grade poron padding at the toe and heel to protect your joints when dancing.
    An arch hugging profile.
    Strengthened unbreakable arch panels.

Size Guide:

Available in 3 widths (narrow, medium and wide) to ensure you get the perfect fit. We stock the wide fitting as we have found 99% of NZ dancers take a wide fitting.

When fitting, the shoe should be close fitting but your toes should not have to be curled to make them fit. The leather in Hullachan shoes are pre-stretched and whilst they will give a little due to being an organic material, the stretch out is a lot less than other styles of ghillies.

If there is space at the toe double check you are you pointing your toe correctly.

The toes should never be bent when pointing. Curling your toes is an incorrect technique and will cause the shoe to have a space in the toe area. Always keep your toes straight when you point as that strengthens the arch of the foot and stretches the tendons.

The Hullachan takes about a week’s wear, depending on the frequency of your training and classes to soften and conform to the shape of your foot.

NB: Please note that while we are more than happy to exchange shoes for another size or brand we do not offer refunds. We have had to implement this policy as a result of people buying shoes with no intention of keeping them.
