The detail in this pewter brooch of the Inverurie Horses is incredible.
This design can be seem carved on an ancient Pictish granite slab which is now in the Kirkyard at Inverurie in Aberdeenshire. To the Picts the horse was a mighty symbol of majesty and nobility and together with control of horses supposedly came power over women. Hahaha, or as they say today, LOL.
Brooch is approximately 45x45mm. Supplied in a white, satin lined and recyclable gift box.
