In order to concentrate on two jig shoes - one for beginners & competitive mid-range dancers and one for top range competitive advanced dancers the jig shoe offerings have been cut to two styles.

The Essential Jig Shoe for Beginners and Mid-Range Dancers and the FeatherFlex for very advanced Dancers.

The new Essential Pro is being launched in September 2026. Here is the rundown of the differences in the three levels of shoe.

Supportive black suede sole designed for dancers who want flexibility in the sole but also for the sole to support the foot.

Continued support

Supportive black suede sole for dancers whose feet are still developing and who are not yet ready for an Ultralite shoe.

Prioritises Flexibility over Support

Ultra Lite soft leather uppers and flexible black suede sole. The trade-off: Replace more often BUT dance pain-free in the meantime
