The third album in this series of top class piping, recorded live at Lowland and Borders Pipers’ Society concerts. An interesting mix of types of bagpipe, traditions and piping styles.

The recordings are mostly taken from a concert in Edinburgh Academy held in 2002, with additional tracks from a previous concert in the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow, in 1999.

Finlay MacDonald plays Border and Highland pipes, Fraser Fifield plays Border pipes and saxophone, Anne Marie Summers plays Low D pipes and G Border pipes. Stephen Tyler plays the unusual Hurdy Gurdy, Xuan Muñiz plays Asturian bagpipes and Simon Bradley plays fiddle. Rory Campbell plays Border and Highland pipes, with Malcolm Stitt on guitar on one track
