Saves all that time finding fabric and sewing it !
The crucial thing with the capes is the length. They should sit between wrist and knuckle so measuring from collar seam to knuckle and see which is the closest to the measurements below.
Available in five sizes: Approximate measurements of cape lengths:
XX Small - Length from collar seam to bottom of cape at back of cape = 56cm at red panel = 54.5cm
X Small - Length from collar seam to bottom of cape at back of cape = 59.5cm at red panel = 57cm
Small - Length from collar seam to bottom of cape at back of cape = 64.5cm at red panel = 62cm
Medium - Length from collar seam to bottom of cape at back of cape = 70cm at red panel = 67.5cm
Large - Length from collar seam to bottom of cape at back of cape = 75cm at red panel = 72.5cm
NB: To be able to sell these fully made for $80 the fabric is not the most expensive satin available. The satin will not always be perfect and does sometimes contain small flaws (maybe a small run). Most people will not notice these flaws as they are very small and you would need to search cm by cm to find them. They are certainly not noticeable from a distance. If the manufacturer had to dispense with large sections of the fabric due to a small run being found, the price of the capes would become prohibitive to most customers.

Excellent jig cape
I am so pleased that jig capes are now in stock at McPhee's. The thought of making a cape or finding someone to make one was daunting. The quality is excellent and the fabric is a lovely weight. Thank you Elaine for your help and very fast delivery.
